Videography
When I go on holiday, I am that guy that takes thousands of photos and hundreds of videos. I love capturing moments and memories & creating a holiday video that perfectly reminds me of the destination and the laughs I had. My aim is to be discreet with the amount of technology while using modern and up to date cameras or phones to capture the footage. I like to do it as compact as possible but still achieve that cinematic feel.
When I shoot in Scotland, I can afford to take more gear with me so usually there's a drone in the boot of the car and a more substantial camera.
Equipment: GoPro Karma Drone, DJI Mavic Air, DJI Spark, Final Cut Pro X
Story: A different view of Argyll and Bute, only filmed from the sky and shot across a range of towns and islands
Time to shoot and edit: 5 months while living on the West Coast of Scotland

Story: Birthday trip to Venice on the island of Giudecca, just south of the main area of Venice. A cold time of year but with less tourists and still a few rays of sunshine the city break was nothing short of spectacular.
Time to shoot and edit: 3 weeks, 4 days in Venice

Story: My first time in New York was nothing short of spectacular. A cancelled flight and a 4 hour bus journey later in the middle of winter, ending up in an unexpected sunny and hot New York , the city did not fail to impress.

Story: The summer of 2017 saw a holiday around Italy in 35 degree heat. Travelling on the high-speed trains around the country was fascinating with each stop along the way completely different to each other. Italy is high on my list of favourite places to visit.
